1.0 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMMUNICATION OFFICER (ONE)
Type of Employment: Permanent and Pensionable
JOB PURPOSE
The ICT Officer will be responsible for the efficient installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of the organization’s IT systems, networks, and related technologies. This role will ensure the security, reliability, and functionality of IT infrastructure to support business operations effectively
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAIN DUTIES)
• Respond to and resolve technical issues raised by users via phone, email, or in person
• Diagnoses and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
• Provide support for basic network issues such as connectivity problems, VPN setup, and access to shared drives and system Maintenance
• Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor and update antivirus software and ensure systems are protected against security threats.
• Manage IT asset inventory, including hardware and software tracking.
• Back up data as required and assist in data recovery processes.
• Assist users in understanding and effectively using technology tools and systems.
• Create and maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures, user guides, and IT policies.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on common software or system use.Support the rollout of new technologies or system upgrades with end users.

Desired Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 School Certificate with 5 credits including English and Mathematics
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Member of Information and Communications Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ)
• 2 years post experience
2.0 ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT (TWO)
Type of Employment: Permanent and Pensionable
JOB PURPOSE
To assist prepare and maintain all accounting transaction records in order to facilitate adherence to financial regulations and accountability.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAIN DUTIES)
• Undertakes timely the preparation of bank reconciliation statements to ensure optimum use and management of financial resources.
• Prepares timely payment vouchers in order to facilitate appropriate purchases and payments.
• Undertakes timely preparation of accurate monthly revenue and expenditure returns.
• Monitors regularly cash flow and commitment ledger in order to monitor financial resources.
• Files and maintains properly all accountable documents in order to keep updated records for easy retrieval.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 Full School Certificate
• ACCA /CIMA /ZICA Technician Certificate or its equivalent
• Member of ZICA
• 2 years experience
3.0 ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (TWO)

JOB PURPOSE
To manage all human resource and administrative support services in order to facilitate smooth operations of the institution.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAIN DUTIES)
• Plans for human resource management and development for effective and efficient workforce.
• Co-ordinates effectively human resource and administrative activities for smooth operations of the museum.
• Leads and supervises the operations of human resources and administration department in the execution of museum programmes.
• Facilitate implementation of Board Policies and Programmes in relation to human resources and administration at the head office.
• Controls effectively human resource under his/her supervision to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensures the continuous supply and maintenance of the required office equipment for effective and efficient operations of the institution.
• Administers the provision and maintenance of an efficient transport system in the institution to facilitate mobility.
• Ensures regular and timely maintenance, cleanliness of buildings and surroundings in order to promote conducive working environment.
• Supervises timely procurement, storage, distribution and disposal of office equipment, furniture, stocks and materials in order to contribute to the smooth operations of the Institution.
• Ensures adequate security to safeguard the institution’s assets and members of staff in order to minimize the risks leading to both material and human loss.
• Facilitates decisions on matters relating to staff welfare, maintenance of office equipment, furniture, provision of stores and daily operation of vehicles.
• Consolidates timely quarterly and annual reports
Desired Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 Full School Certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Human Resource or its equivalent
• Paid up member of the Zambia Institute Human Resource Management
• 2 years experience
4.0 DRIVER/MECHANIC (TWO)
Type of Employment: Permanent and Pensionable
To drive and provide technical support services in mechanics in order to provide an efficient transport system.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAIN DUTIES)
• Provides timely repairs, maintenance services and cleaning in order to keep the vehicles/generator sets in good running condition.
• Drives authorized officers responsibly and timely within authorized times to facilitate accomplishment of duties and assignments.
• Ensures that institutional vehicles are parked in secured and authorized areas in order to avoid thefts.
• Ensures accurate completion of log books in order to avoid unnecessary and unauthorized errands.
• Reports timely the occurrence of road traffic accidents for prompt action.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 Full School Certificate
• Certificate in mechanics
• Appropriate Driver’s license
• 3 years of practice in mechanics
5.0 ASSISTANT KEEPER ECOLOGY (ONE)

JOB PURPOSE
Permanent and Pensionable.
To assist and facilitate planning for conducting of research, collection acquisitions, collection documentation, curatorial services, exhibition mounting, inventory, publication and de- accessioning in order to enhance preservation and dissemination of knowledge.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAIN DUTIES)
• Facilitates preliminary activities relating to research, collections acquisition, and collection documentation, curatorial services, mounting of exhibitions, publications and storage of collections.
• Undertakes relevant research in order to increase collections and to disseminate knowledge.
• Facilitates timely preliminary acquisition of relevant new collections for study and preservation for posterity.
• Participates in mounting periodically exhibitions in conjunction with relevant sections of the museum for public enjoyment, awareness and education.
• Facilitates efficient curation of collections by effective monitoring of environmental conditions in the storerooms and galleries in order to promote proper storage and care of collections for posterity.
• Facilitates accurate documentation in compliance to acceptable documentation system for easy retrieval, identification, and security of collections.
• Facilitates undertaking of inventory to determine the number of collections and de- accessing process of objects/specimen that are in bad condition in order to prevent further infections.
• Assists to undertake regular inspection of collections and daily inspection of galleries to determine their condition.

• Grade 12 Full School Certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Ecology, Biology or its equivalent in Natural Science
