Job description:
Specific Job Responsibility
The Graduate will work closely with the commercial superintendents and commercial manager on tasks and projects as directed by the commercial manager. The Graduate will work on projects that may involve:
1. Procurement
2. Warehousing
3. Logistics
4. Contracts
5. Finance
6. Business improvement .
The responsibilities of the Graduate will vary depending on the assignment or project.

Job Specific Competencies
The Graduate should ideally have:
1. Knowledge of supervisory practices, principles and techniques
2. Basic finance knowledge
3. Basic knowledge of how the mining industry operates and basic knowledge of the production process
4. Knowledge of basic procurement principles
5. Knowledge of how to use basic analytical tools
6. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Experience required to perform in this job
1. 0-2 years’ work experience in a commercial field will be advantageous

Qualifications
1. Ideally a Bachelors’ degree in Commerce, Business, Finance or Law although other disciplines may be considered.
2. Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply membership advantageous.
3. Distinction or equivalent from a reputable university will be advantageous.
4. MBA/ CFA/ CA advantageous.
