JOB DETAILS:
Duties And Responsibilities:
• Lecturing in respective fields and developing course material and curricula
• Setting examinations, tests and uploading results promptly into the system for senate approvals.
• Conducting individual research work, collaborative research and publishing in recognized journals
• Supervising students’ projects and grading assignments
• Ensuring that module design and delivery comply with quality standard and regulations of the university
• Giving first-line support and mentoring to students and inspiring meaningful discussions with students
• Taking initiative, problem solving and sound decision making.

Qualification and Experience
The University seeks an individual with:
• Grade twelve (12) Certificate with 5 O Levels which must include English Language and Mathematics
• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field
• Master of Science in the same as the Bachelor degree
• Learned Doctor of Philosophy degree in a relevant field is an added advantage
• Sufficient breath or depth of specialist knowledge in the discipline to develop teaching programmes and the provision of learning support.
• Knowledge of higher education and ability to use a range of delivery techniques to enthuse and engage students,
• Must provide proof of valid membership to a professional body
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
