JOB DETAILS:

JOB TITLE: LECTURER, PATHOLOGY – 3 POSITIONS (RE- ADVERTISEMENT)

PURPOSE:
To teach and assess students, undertake research and perform other academic-related tasks at Levy Mwanawasa Medical University and Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital.

POSITION 1
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 12 school certificate or its equivalent;
• Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) or MBBS
• Master of Medicine in Anatomical Pathology from a reputable university;
• PhD in a related field would be an added advantage;
• At least two (2) years of teaching or research experience at a college or university level;
• Must have proof of some publications;
• Must be computer literate;
• IIPCZ Practicing License will be required upon commencement of duties.

POSITION 2
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 12 school certificate or its equivalent;
• Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences or MBChB;
• Master of Science in Chemical Pathology from a reputable university;
• PhD in a related field would be an added advantage;
• At least two (2) years of teaching or research experience at a college or university level.
• Must have proof of some publications;
• Must be computer literate;
• HPCZ Practicing License will be required upon commencement of duties.

POSITION 3
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 12 school certificate or its equivalent;
• Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences or MBChB;
• Master of Science in Pathology (Haematology) from a reputable university;
• PhD in a related field would be an added advantage;
• At least two (2) years of teaching or research experience at a college or university level;
• Must have proof of some publications;
• Must be computer literate;
• HPCZ Practicing License will be required upon commencement of duties.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
