Anda Solutions  is a new and small startup specializing in collateral-based loans, payday loans, etc., with interests in travel, agriculture, and the hospitality industry. Anda Solutions now seeks to recruit an Auto Electrician to join the budding company. The successful applicant will provide technical leadership in all auto-electrical works. This is a permanent position subject to a probationary period of 3 months.

Reporting Lines
The Auto Electrician will report directly to the Fleet Supervisor.

Specific tasks and responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site Automotive Electrician role located in either Kabwe or Lusaka with frequent travel throughout the SADC region. As such, the role is ideal for a physically fit candidate able to work long hours and is detail-oriented. Specific tasks include:
• Repairing, maintaining, and servicing both company and clients’ vehicles
• Conducting diagnostic tests, identifying malfunctions, replacing damaged or worn parts
• Ensuring that all vehicles perform at an optimal level, are serviced on schedule, and meet RTSA safety regulations
• Foreseeing damage or tear and wear before they occur and advising management to take action
• Report all malfunction, potential malfunction, or body damage and propose solutions in a timely manner
• Providing company mobility as directed by the Fleet Supervisor
• He/She will carry out any other duties assigned by the Fleet Supervisor

Minimum Requirements
• Commitment and passion for company growth above all else
• G12 Certificate
• Certificate in auto-electrical
• Reliable and traceable experience in repairing and servicing both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle is a must and will be tested
• Minimum C1 Driver’s license
• Ability to drive long distances and willingness to work during off hours when required
• Trustworthy with traceable contacts and a fixed abode
• Willingness to work from any part of the country the company deems necessary
• Computer proficient with the ability to work with word processing and spreadsheets
• Must have high typing skills with the ability to navigate the internet quickly
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Fluent in at least one Zambian local language
• Traceable Referees – all Referees will be contacted
• Valid Zambian National Registration Card
• Honesty in all dealings and must have no criminal record (Background checks will be done)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability and willingness to abide by all Company policies and follow guidance from the Fleet Supervisor.
