Unipesa (based in UAE) is a company dealing with the development of software products for Payment Service Providers (PSPs) across Africa. The payment systems of Kenya, Zambia, Burundi and Cameroon operate on technical solutions powered by Unipesa nowdays. Our objective is to provide a scalable and highly automated payment software aimed at facilitating commercial endeavors for payment service providers seamlessly. The company offers highly automated payment gateway, a bulk SMS platform and POS Management software.

Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a manager focused on generation of leads and sales. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new leads, negotiating and closing deals, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy and identifying ways to improve business development processes.

Qualifications
• Sales, Business Development, and commercial skills
• Ability to identify new business opportunities and negotiate deals
• Extensive connections among the leadership of relevant companies. Wide professional networking. Positive reputation in payment business circles.
• Deep understanding of the payment services market, banking services, PSPs, mobile money and the regional fintech situation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently. Self motivation is a must.
• At least 3y experience in the fintech industry (MoMo, PSP)
