JOB DETAILS:
Role Description
• This is a full-time on-site Construction Foreman (Zambia) role located in Zambia with SciTech. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction sites and supervising teams of workers, ensuring that each project is completed on time, within budget and meets quality standards. They will also liaise with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth progress of the project, and will be responsible for enforcing health and safety standards as per the policy of the company.

Qualifications
• Proven experience working as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role
• Thorough knowledge of construction procedures and safety measures
• Experience in project management and workflow planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and plans
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams of workers

Main responsibilities:
• Supervision: Lead and manage construction teams on-site.
• Quality Control: Ensure work meets standards and project specs.
• Resource Management: Efficiently handle equipment, materials, and manpower.
• Problem Solving: Solve construction problems quickly.
• Documentation: Maintain records of work and expenses.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular progress updates.
Salary $1,500 net after all deductions; plus accommodation, transportation, medical coverage, and a yearly ticket.
