South African Airways
General Sales Agent (Commercial) for Zambia
Expression of Interest
South African Airways (SOC) Ltd., National carrier of South Africa is inviting Expressions of interests (EOI) from Travel Agents or Organisations for representation as General Sales Agent in the Republic of Zambia

Key Responsibilities are
1. Promote the Airline's product and services to grow its business and market share in the territory
2. Provide a suitably staffed sales office to offer SAA's customers with dedicated support for reservations and ticketing and customer care facilitation
3. Work in close collaboration with stakeholders at the Airline's head office to focus and align key distribution channels in Zambia with SAA's distribution strategy
4. Provide input for digital and Marketing department to maximize the SAA brand exposure and presence on the market

The request for qualification must contain the following
Financial Criteria
1. Provision of 3 years Audited financial statements
2. Provision of budgeted income statement and cash flow signed by the company Director
3. Permission for SAA to carry out a credit check on your organisation

Business Experience
1. Existing enterprise with at least 3 years' experience in the travel or related industries
2. Good understanding of Sales & Marketing principles
3. Understanding of Global distribution systems in the travel industry

• All shortlisted candidates will be required to do a presentation of their business plan focusing on sales & marketing for SAA to a selected panel at a specified date
