Job description:
Overall Job Purpose
The purpose of the Condition Monitoring (CM) Analyst-Junior, is mainly to carry out data collection of equipment health parameters with the use of sophisticated tools and software to support the CM Analyst-Senior in the analysis of the current health condition of the mobile equipment, to improve subsequent maintenance decisions, to increase fleet reliability, reduce operating costs and minimize unscheduled downtime of fleet equipment through the early identification of failure (potential failure) and creation of a right action plan.

Specific Job Responsibility
The specific tasks to be performed by the position holder will include.

Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment

• Contribute to reviews of Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures relevant to process maintenance objectives and aims and where appropriate, FQML operations.
• Promote awareness of the FQML health and safety programs targeting zero-harm work-related injuries and illnesses within the team.
• Maintain a culture of safety awareness underpinned by an understanding of the principles of duty of care.

Work Management
• Carry out specific data collection using the right CM techniques and tools/equipment implemented onsite.
• Coordinate with CM Supervisor to execute data collection according to the maintenance plan safely and at time.
• Prepare reports on the condition of mobile equipment according to the data collected, following the standard established by the CM Supervisor in a timely manner. Ensure 100% of compliance and reporting of all planned condition monitoring work.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all data collected whilst analyzing data and providing practical solutions and technical advice of the CM data collection.
• Through condition analysis and the data collected, support to CM Analyst-Senior to identify root causes and put in place corrective action plans to optimize productivity and component life of mobile equipment.
• Support the development of weekly and shutdown work management plans related to “on condition” task.
• Contribute to the management of day to day “on condition” task and long-term maintenance integrity for the mobile equipment.
• Interact with execution supervisor/coordinator to ensure the CM top issues are addressed with right action plan on time.
• Ensure all portable and field mounted condition monitoring devices/equipment are kept in operating condition and that they have their respective calibration.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Optimizing Asset Tactics
• Drive predictive analysis using statistical tools to improve the condition monitoring collected data regarding telemetry, oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography, crack detection, wear projection and others.
• Comply and find improve opportunities with the standard work procedures for all condition monitoring tasks regarding to data collection.

Business Improvement
• Identify way to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of condition monitoring task regarding to data collection, and work with CM Supervisor to implement it.
• Develop CM improvement projects assigned by CM Supervisor.

• Knowledge of heavy machine system and components (engine, transmission, main alternator, final drive, motor and gear case, etc.)
• Root cause techniques i.e. 5-Whys,

Experience required to perform in this job
• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance area, as mechanic/electric artisan of mobile equipment.
• At least 1 years of experience in the condition monitoring of mobile equipment.
Qualifications
• A Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• A Relevant Trade Certificate – Mobile Plant Mechanic/Electric/Electronic.
• Valid driver’s license
• All certificates must be certified by ZAQA
