Job Description Key Purpose Statement
• The learning and development coordinator will have responsibility for the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development activities and projects as directed by the learning and development manager. These will include managing induction programs, supporting learning and development interventions and supporting performance development initiatives. The role holder will be the first point of contact for learning and development queries and be responsible for all related administration.
Key Duties & Responsibilities 1.
1. Training Needs Analysis (TNA) management
• Support the TNA process in country administratively and logistically
• Consolidates and scrubs need inputs for analytics
• Supports the coordination and consolidation of the training plans and associated spend inputs for business leader approval
2. Learning and Development Programmes
• Administratively and logistically supports the effective onboarding and execution of graduate trainee programs, learnerships programs, apprenticeships and other skills development programs.
• Liaise with employees, learners and service providers to schedule and arrange training and contact sessions.
• Assist with monthly ad hoc reporting on learning execution.
• Custodians of Learning and Development compliance and governance
• Administrative support to Capability Team in all areas related to Learning and Development competence and capability development
• Arranging hospitality, room layout and equipment for participants attending workshops and events, liaison with trainers, booking training rooms, printing and distributing course materials and ensuring required equipment is available and in working order for the efficient running of all relevant events.
• Assists administratively and logistically with maintenance, development and execution of career paths, capability frameworks, curricula design, critical learning interventions, skills sustainability programmes and systems administration.
• Support the maintenance and review of training material quality, effectiveness and data integrity.
3. Learning and Development metrics
• Captures data against training metrics.
• Follows up and ensures complete information gathering for training metrics and ROI evaluation for every program delivered.
• Assist with monthly reporting and ad hoc reporting.
• Assist with query resolution on any matters as relates learning and development administration, execution and reporting.
• Support the reporting of Learning & Development metrics
• Supports the effective evaluation of the effectiveness of learning methodologies, including ROI on interventions in country.
4. Learning and Development Reporting
• Accurate capturing of information on a monthly and annual basis for reporting purposes.
• Reports on all areas of training for the business.
• Custodian of Training data and ensuring the integrity of Information against reporting categories and requirements.
Skills, Experience & Education Qualifications
• Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Degree in Learning and Development / Education / Economics / Marketing / Business Administration / Psychology / Human Resources).
Experience
• 0 – 1 Year administrative experience including effective event co-ordination.
