Do You Have What It Takes?
• The MARKETING OFFICER will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns that promote the company’s products and services. This includes creating brand awareness, generating leads, and ultimately driving sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conducting a market search and competitor analysis
• Staying updated on industry trends to ensure the company’s marketing efforts are effective and competitive.
• Collaborate with sales teams and other departments to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
• Overseeing campaigns on social media and Evaluating their effectiveness
• Managing and developing marketing campaigns.
Education & Experience
• Advanced Diploma or Degree in Marketing
• 2 – 3 years experience of marketing
• Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing
• Proven work experience in marketing.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding the fire suppression industry, its products, regulations, and safety standards is essential for effective marketing.
• Marketing Expertise: Strong marketing skills, including market research, campaign development, digital marketing, and branding, are vital.
• Technical Understanding: Familiarity with the technical aspects of fire suppression systems to effectively communicate their features and benefits.
• Creativity: The ability to create compelling and innovative marketing materials and campaigns that stand out in the industry.
• Analytical Skills: Being able to analyse data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information clearly to various audiences.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with sales, engineering, and other departments to align marketing strategies with business goals.
• Customer Focus: Understanding customer needs and preferences to tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
• Adaptability: Being able to adapt to changing market conditions and technologies.
• Project Management: Managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
