JOB DETAILS:
• The Cooperative Clusters located at the Ndola and Kitwe Industrial Yards namely Kitwe Giants (Maize Processing). Best Edible Oil (Cooking oil processing), Agro feed Cluster, Soya Processing. Fruit and Vegetable Cluster, Peanut Butter Cluster, Chef On Fire Cluster, Mining Cluster, Bolt and Nut Cluster, Arts and Crafts Cluster. Timber Processing Cluster, Textile Cluster, and Restaurant Cluster are inviting applications from suitably qualified Zambians to fill the following positions:
• Operations Officer
• The Operations Officer reports to the Factory Manager. Responsibilities include leading the purchasing. manufacturing, and warehousing departments within the factory to ensure consistency and quality of all products. Improve products and production processes.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Developing and implementing company policies. Planning and budgeting for projects.
• Innovating products and processes.
• Monitoring operational costs to maintain or increase profit margins.
• Improving operational procedures to promote efficiency.
• Maintaining and analyzing all operational data.
• Monitoring product inventories.
• Ensuring adherence to company procedures and policies.
• Assisting with employee training and evaluation.
• Fostering relationships between clients, suppliers and vendors.

Qualifications
• Grade Twelve (12) Certificate
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related fields.
• Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment.
• At least five (5) years continuous experience in a factory set up

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
