The University of Lusaka is a prestigious institution dedicated to providing quality education and research opportunities. We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Quality Assurance Director to lead our Quality Assurance Department.

Position: Quality Assurance Director

As Quality Assurance Director at University of Lusaka, you will be an integral part of our Institution, responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the University’s quality assurance program. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our academic and administrative processes meet the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include the following:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive quality assurance strategy to enhance the quality of academic programs, administrative processes, and student services.
• Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with academic departments and administrative units to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee program accreditation and ensure compliance with regional and national accrediting bodies. Manage internal audits and assessments to monitor the University’s adherence to quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and work closely with stakeholders to address concerns.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in quality assurance and higher education.
• Extensive experience in curricula development and review, lecturing and research.
• Strong knowledge of accreditation processes and quality assurance methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in higher education.
• Quality assurance certifications are a plus.
