JOB DETAILS:
The National Institute of Public Administration [NIPA], exists under the Act of Parliament No. 15 of 1998. The Institute now seeks the services of highly motivated individuals to join its team of skilled professionals. Applications are now invited for the following position:
Position: Artisan – Plumber (1)
Reports to: Maintenance Superintendent

Job Purpose
To carryout plumbing work involving repair/maintenance of pipes, in offices and hostels as directed by superior to ensure timely repair/maintenance works in order to provide a conducive learning and work environment.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills Requirements
• 5 ‘O’ Levels acceptable at a training institution awarding Craft Certificates or equivalent
• Craft Certificate in Plumbing and Sheet Metal.
• 3 years’ relevant postgraduate experience.
• Able to apply knowledge and experience to work tasks.
• Knowledge and experience of safety procedures.
• Written Communication Skills.
• Numerical/Computation Skills.
• Problem Solving Skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Location: Lusaka Main Campus
