JOB DETAILS:
Overall Purpose:
The Loan Officer is responsible for onboarding, processing, and servicing loans to individual and/or business clients. This role requires strong customer service, sales, and analytical skills. The Loan Officer will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and guide them through the loan process.

Key Responsibilities:
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the loan application and servicing process.
• Loan Origination:
• Interview and assess loan applicants to determine their eligibility to access loans.
• Gather and review loan documents, including income and credit history.
• Prepare loan applications and supporting documentation.
• Present loan applications for approval.
• Loan Servicing:
• Collect loan payments and resolve customer inquiries.
• Monitor loan performance and identify potential risks.
• Assist customers with loan modifications or resigning as needed.
• Sales and Marketing:
• Promote loan products and services to potential customers.
• Participate in community outreach events such as activations to increase brand awareness.
• Meeting loan and sales targets that have been set.
• Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all applicable lending regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan files.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of a diploma in any social science or related field.
• At least one-year experience in a similar field.
• Competence in Microsoft Office package.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong understanding of financial products and services.

Level of Education: Associate Degree
