JOB DETAILS:
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Perform all housekeeping duties assigned by the head maid or lady of the house
2. Keep all areas clean and tidy at all times, including but not limited to mopping floors, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, cleaning windows, and washing dishes
3. Launder clothing and linens as needed, using appropriate detergents and fabric care products
4. Organize storage areas such as closets and cupboards, keeping them neat and free of clutter
5. Prepare meals as directed, following recipes and other instructions to the letter
6. Serve food and drinks in a professional and courteous manner
Handle all cleaning supplies and equipment with extreme caution, using only as directed and never mixing different products together
7. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the head maid or lady of the house immediately
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while on the job
Respect the privacy of the family and their guests at all times
9. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the family’s personal affairs
Perform additional duties as requested or needed

Required Skills and Qualifications
1. High school certificate or equivalent
2. Proven experience as a house maid
3. Excellent cleaning, laundry, and ironing skills
4. Ability to follow instructions and take direction
5. Great time-management skills
6. Physical stamina and strength
7. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed

Preferred Skills and Qualifications as an added advantage
1. Certification from a vocational school or previous training in housekeeping
2. Working knowledge of common cleaning chemicals and supplies
3. Experience caring for children and pets
