JOB DETAILS:
• Job Summary
Reporting to the I.T Infrastructure Manager, the role will be responsible for the development of bespoke in-house systems and applications. It will also involve support and maintenance of already existing systems.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
• Develop intranet sites for the organization to be accessed by designated employees.
• Develop and assist in managing all aspects of software and coding.
• Attending company Develops meetings.
• Learn the code base for existing and future company apps.
• Report and work on bugs.
• Monitor and improve the performance of existing internal systems.
• Respond to requests from external dev teams.
• Test applications before they go to live environments.
• Perform any other duties as delegated by superiors.
• Basic-level knowledge of SQL queries and MySQL and SQL Server.
• Basic-level knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, and C#.
• Experience working with coding languages such as native HTML, JSON, jQuery, and Ajax,
• Experience in developing web applications using popular web frameworks such as Flutter, and Laravel.
• Knowledge of Object-oriented programming.
• Solid understanding of web design and development principles.

Qualifications
• Grade 12 (or equivalent)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Software Engineering or Equivalent.
• 1 year experience in application development.
• Member of a relevant professional body– added advantage.
