JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
To support and assist Monitoring and Evaluation Officer(s) and the Unit in tracking andassessing progress made towards the achievement of Strategic Business Plan (SBP),Institutional Performance Targets and adherence to service level agreements in the servicecharter.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Support the M & E team in monitoring and evaluation frameworks for implementationof institutional workplan and service level agreements.
2. To assist in the development and review of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tools
3. Participate in analysis of data collected through the M&E system to generate lessonslearnt, highlight key issues, and bring them to the attention M & E Officer(s)
4. Participate and support the review of the institutional work plans to assess progress ofprogramme implementation.
5. Gather data and documentary proof in the assessment of progress made, and theachievement of indicators and service level commitments.
6. Participate in compilation of mid-term and end-term evaluation to check for outcomesand/or impacts of institutional activities relative to SBP Objectives and other reports,
7. Support the validation and compiling processes of Institutional Performance Reportson a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to assess progress of programmeimplementation.
8. Assist the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer(s) in the facilitation and/or coordination ofdepartmental and Management meetings.
9. Perform any other related duties as maybe assigned by the Monitoring and EvaluationOfficer(s) from time to time.

Knowledge and Required Skills
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data to ensure generation of meaningfulinformation.
• Excellent organisation and planning skills
• High attention to detail, analytical skills, and good numeracy skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Excellent report writing skills.

Eligibility Criteria
• Must be a Zambian citizen.
• Full Grade 12 Certificate with university entry passes.
• Degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, or
• Degree in Economics, Statistics, Demographics, Development Studies or its equivalent with a Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation as an added advantage
• Applicants should have graduated not more than three (3) years ago as a school leaver direct entry.
