JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
Provide mechanical or electrical repair and maintenance services for underground mining equipment to ensure operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical faults in heavy equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on machinery.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment availability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status.
• Adhere to safety and operational standards during all repair activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Minimum Craft Certificate in a relevant field.
• Membership with the Zambia Institute of Engineering (EIZ).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Valid Silicosis Certificate.
