Reports to: District Coordinator
Job Summary
The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will be responsible for tracking the progress and effectiveness of project interventions in their assigned district, ensuring data-driven decision-making and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and implement M&E plans to track program indicators and outcomes.
● Collect, analyze, and report data related to SBC activities and HIV prevention services focusing on pregnant and parenting adolescents and young mothers and their sexual partners
● Conduct baseline assessments, needs analyses, and gap identification at the district level.
● Train mentor mothers and other field staff on data collection tools and methodologies.
● Ensure data quality through regular audits and capacity-building sessions.
● Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to share with the district and national teams.
● Collaborate with district coordinators to assess program performance and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
● Minimum 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluating health programs, with expertise in HIV prevention and SBC.
● Proficiency in data analysis tools such as STATA, SPSS, or Power BI.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
