JOB DETAILS:
Purpose of the role
• The role is responsible to ensure that processes, procedures and controls are followed by the custodians. The role also exists to monitor cash balances to avoid cash outs and also avoid breaching the overnight limit per ATM. The role also works closely with the CIT team to ensure there is smooth communication between the two parties.

Responsibilities
• Manage, and coordinate the daily cash orders with the custodians and the Bank.
• To conduct snap checks (audits) on ATMs according to the laid down procedures/process and required target.
• To investigate and report all cash discrepancies that are established during the snap checks
• To submit the weekly and monthly snap check reports in form of the flash report and submitting hard copies.
• Provide oversight and input to Management regarding ATM operation.
• Staff training and ensuring that ATM custodians are up to speed with ATM operations, documentation and risk management.
• Ensure team members are aware of any relevant situation regarding their customers.
• Ensure staff members adhere to established policies, procedures and controls. Adherence to SLA
• Effectively establish and communicate the goals to staff members, gain commitment and establish plan of action for goal attainment.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of financial records.
• Maintain integrity and accuracy in financial transactions and reports.
• To inspect and monitor the equipment and vehicles used by the custodians in their daily duties. Making sure vehicle log books are in place and correctly recorded by the users (custodians).
• To form as back up for ATM custodians who may not be available to work.
• Any other duties assigned by Management

Qualification
• A minimum of two (2) years’ as an ATM custodian with reconciliation knowledge
• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum diploma in a relevant field
• Computer literate.
