JOB DETAILS:
National Milling Corporation Limited is a reputable multinational company specialized in the manufacturing of various flour, mealie meal, stockfeeds including trading in rice and other products wishes to engage highly motivated accountants to join our finance team reporting to the Chief Accountant, Credit Manager or Finance Manager as follows:

• Responsible for performing various day to day financial transactions including verifying and recording of accounting data on the system ensuring all financial transactions are properly and timely updated and recorded. Ensure timely processing of payments and preparations of the weekly payment report. Prepare the weekly and monthly cashflow reports and forecasts including reconciliation of customer, vendor, inventory and back accounts. Prepare and file all statutory and tax returns monthly, quarterly and annually ensuring payments to authorities are made on time as provided by applicable laws. Perform finance end of month closure process and ensure overall ledger hygiene by reconciling the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts and following up on reconciled items on a timely basis. Maintain proper filling of documents and records of all accounting transactions. Process depot transactions ensuring to report on variances and escalate to assigned superior including participation in monthly and adhoc stock counts and external audit processes.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Must possess a full grade (12) School certificate, Full ZICA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA with at least (3) years previous experience in such a similar role. Must be proficient in accounting software, familiarity with quick books and financial statements consistent, accurate, thorough and detail oriented and a member of the Zambian Institute of Chartered Accountants or other relevant professional bodies and in good standing.
