JOB DETAILS:
Maveriq Accounting is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a burning desire for learning to join our team as a full-time on-site Accounts and Data Integrity Officer located in Lusaka Province, Zambia. This position is ideal for candidates who want to develop their career in Accounting, or who are interested in acquiring the much-needed practical experience.

Responsibilities
• Oversee the accurate and timely capture of business transactions and financial data.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure data integrity and identify any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure proper classification and coding of financial transactions.
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve data accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain documentation of accounting procedures and data entry guidelines.
• Provide support to internal teams regarding financial data queries and concerns.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and accounting standards.
• Any other duties assigned by the CEO/Supervisor.

Work Experience
Entry Level – (No Previous Work Experience Requirement)
Skills and Personal Attributes
• Basic knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Highly inquisitive and keen on learning.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance/ ZiCA Application / ACCA Applied Skills
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.
