Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Business Development Executive for our Petroleum Product (PFMS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in
managing relationships with clients, generating sales for the business, working to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential and existing clients
• Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth targets
• Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company objectives
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer service, to align business development efforts with company goals
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Prepare sales contracts and proposals, ensuring adherence to established law rules and guidelines.
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
• Prospect for potential new clients and turn it into increased business
Must Have Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience in selling forecourt automation solutions (e.g., Wayne Fusion, Gilbarco Passport, Tokheim ProGauge) in the Zambia market.
• Strong understanding of the Zambia petroleum industry and its regulatory landscape.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Valid Zambia driver’s license.
Plus:
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems integration with forecourt equipment.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., D360, Gilbarco DOMs).
