JOB DETAILS:
Access Bank Zambia is seeking to recruit a self-motivated, enthusiastic, experienced, and innovative person to fill the role of Chief Information Security Officer in the information security department based at head office in Lusaka, Zambia.

Why the role exists
The purpose of the role is to maintain a comprehensive information and cybersecurity program encompassing business processes, people, technology, and policy to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and cybersecurity assets.

What you will be responsible for
• Develop, manage, and improve a comprehensive information security risk-based program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information assets.
• Develop an IT security architecture roadmap that will identify security controls and identify and assess technologies that will enforce the organization's security priorities.
• Develop, maintain, and promote information security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Ensure that controls comply with contractual obligations, corporate policies, and legal and regulatory requirements.
• Create and manage information security and risk management awareness training programs for all employees, contractors, and approved system users.
• Define and facilitate the information security risk assessment process, including the reporting and oversight of treatment efforts to address findings.
• Create, communicate, and implement a process to manage vendor risk, including assessment and remediation efforts to address such risks that may result from partners, consultants, and other service providers.
• Provide strategic risk guidance and consultation for corporate IT projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical standards and controls.

What you need to have (skills & experience)
• First degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, and Information Technology.
• Master's degree in Management, Business, Technology, or Cybersecurity.
• Expert Knowledge in Information and Cyber Security.
• 10 years experience in managing Cybersecurity, Technology Governance, Technology Risk in Banking or Financial.
• Expert Knowledge of Security management principles and practices.
• Expert Knowledge of planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Expert Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.
• Expert Knowledge of operating systems internals and endpoint security experience (Windows).
• Expert Knowledge of database and operating system security.
• Excellent communication skills to enable rapport to be built with Stakeholders and colleagues.
• Understanding of data analysis and Network security.
• Expert knowledge of internet protocols.
• Registered member of professional membership of a relevant ICT and cybersecurity body in Zambia.
