JOB DETAILS:
Our Client, a supplier of personal protective equipment (PPE), safety equipment, cleaning chemicals and consumables and paper products, seeks a Field Sales Representative to cover North Western Zambia and surrounding areas. Responsible for increasing sales by developing relationships with potential customers, marketing and selling of various products, ensuring to generate leads, meeting sales targets whilst working with other assigned sales staff members. Open to Sales Reps with mining and mining contractor experience.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reporting To: General Manager
Supervision Of: Self
Interacts With: Team, Customers

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for marketing and selling of various products
Ensuring to generate leads, meeting sales targets whilst working with other assigned sales staff members
Ensuring to maintain an advanced product knowledge across entire portfolio.
Ensure correct information is passed on customers, foster trust relationship with existing and potential customers through action and proactive support
Provide training and technical specific support to customers as well as manage customer’s complaints including promotion of the brand
Ensure success of customer’s value proposition through immense understanding of their needs to achieve maximum sales budget and profitability
Conduct all duties with due diligence and at the highest levels of integrity
Must have a good understanding of PPE, Safety Equipment, Paper Products, Cleaning Chemicals and Products, Security Uniforms
Willing to spend 2 weeks a month away from home

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Starting: 1 July
Experience: 3 years plus
Education Level: Certificate Level
Qualifications: Certification in Marketing and Sales/Business Management or related field
Software: Microsoft Packages and Syspro
Equipment: Own Vehicle, fuel supplied by company
Knowledge Of: Field Sales and Marketing in the safety equipment and PPE industry
Skills To: Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Ability To: Work independently and under pressure to reach sales targets
Other Requirements: Must possess a clean and valid driver’s license and own transport
