JOB DETAILS:
Responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and both shop & field repairs on generators of all makes and models in a variety of sizes, as well as providing excellent customer service, and keeping accurate records. Perform troubleshooting of commercial and industrial diesel generators including automatic transfer switches, batteries and load-bank testing.
Reporting Structure
Interacts With: Management team

• Job Description
Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on generator systems
Troubleshooting and diagnostic testing, load-bank testing, and start-ups
Identifies causes of generator problems and/ or failures
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of generators both during normal working hours and after-hours, weekends, and holidays as directed
Effectively communicate with the management team
Additional duties as assigned
• Candidate Specification
Experience: 5 years plus
Education Level: Certificate Level
Qualifications: Automotive or Electrical craft certificate
Equipment: Previous experience working on commercial and industrial generators
Knowledge Of: Preferred knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems. Proficient with generator and transfer switch controls
Skills To: Exceptional communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Strong self-management skills
Ability To: The ability to participate in an online call
Other Requirements: Valid Driver’s License. Must be open to working overtime, including evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed
