Summary
Reporting to the Managing Director, the position will be overseeing all financial operations, human resources and administrative functions within the OpCo, ensuring financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. The role will be managing budgets, financial reporting, risk management, HR strategy, and administrative processes to drive profitability and operational excellence. They will be providing insights and recommendations to the Managing Director and the leadership team to support business growth and workforce effectiveness.
Description
Reporting to the Managing Director, the position will be overseeing all financial operations, human resources and administrative functions within the OpCo, ensuring financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. The role will be managing budgets, financial reporting, risk management, HR strategy, and administrative processes to drive profitability and operational excellence. They will be providing insights and recommendations to the Managing Director and the leadership team to support business growth and workforce effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements
The right candidate should possess the following:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's Degree will be an added advantage).
• A professional certification (such as, CA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPD) is mandatory.
• 8-10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong expertise in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in the telecommunications, IT, or infrastructure sector is an advantage.
• Proven track record in financial management, and risk management.
Competencies
The right candidate must possess the following competencies:
• Proficiency in Financial ERP systems (SAP, Sage or similar) and HR management systems.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High level of integrity and ethics.
• Ability to manage complex financial, HR, and administrative functions effectively.
