JOB DETAILS:
NHEF Empowerment Fund is currently seeking dedicated professionals for the following positions:
1. Civil Engineers (3 Positions Available)
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee construction projects from planning to completion.
• Conduct structural analysis and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other professionals to ensure project success.
• Supervise site work and provide engineering solutions to challenges.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP2000, or other engineering software.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Registered with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) or equivalent professional body (preferred).
2. Surveyors (7 Positions Available)
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct land, boundary, and topographic surveys for construction and development projects.
• Use advanced surveying equipment, such as GPS, GIS, and total stations.
• Prepare detailed maps, reports, and legal descriptions.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data and make necessary adjustments.
• Work with engineers, architects, and government authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of field experience in land surveying or mapping.
• Proficiency in GIS software and CAD tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Membership in a recognized surveying professional body (preferred).
3. Legal Officers (8 Positions Available)
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice on contracts, property laws, and corporate governance.
• Draft and review agreements, policies, and regulatory documents.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with national and international laws related to the company’s operations.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant legal developments.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of legal experience, preferably in corporate, real estate, or contract law.
• Must be a registered member of the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) or an equivalent professional body.
• Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle confidential matters with integrity.
