JOB DETAILS:
• The Cooperative Clusters located at the Ndola and Kitwe Industrial Yards namely Kitwe Giants (Maize Processing). Best Edible Oil (Cooking oil processing), Agro feed Cluster, Soya Processing. Fruit and Vegetable Cluster, Peanut Butter Cluster, Chef On Fire Cluster, Mining Cluster, Bolt and Nut Cluster, Arts and Crafts Cluster. Timber Processing Cluster, Textile Cluster, and Restaurant Cluster are inviting applications from suitably qualified Zambians to fill the following positions:
• Machine Operators
• The machine operators’ responsibilities include working with heavy machinery, assisting with the installation of equipment and carrying out maintenance by performing periodic tests and repairs.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
• Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process.
• Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
• Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to work and communicate well with others. Proficiency with hand tools.

Qualifications
• Grade Twelve (12) Certificate.
• Mechanical Technician or any related fields.
• Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment.
• At least two (2) years’ continuous experience in a factory set up.
