JOB DETAILS:
The position shall report to the Manager, Project.

Qualifications
• Full grade twelve (12) certificate; and
• College or University Diploma in mechanical engineering or related field or better from a recognised Institution
• Must be a member of Engineering Institute of Zambia

Experience
• Minimum experience of 7 years as a supervisor and 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Manager or equivalent;
• Must have proven working experience on Sino Trucks ;
• Must have proven working experience on graders, excavators, dozers, ADTs, etc.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee repairs for all the company fleet of tippers, ADTs, excavators, dozers, graders, compactors, light vehicles, etc;
• Design maintenance policies and procedures;
• Prepare workshop budgets and track the budgets and expenses;
• Oversee the inspections of equipment to find problems and make necessary repairs;
• Schedule maintenance tasks;
• Supervise maintenance employees;
• Oversee the response to maintenance emergencies;
• Monitor equipment reliability and effectiveness;
• Ensure that commonly used spare parts are available at all times ;
• Drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics; and
• Several other functions as advised by the supervisor.

• Must have working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems;
• Must have technical and non-technical skills;
• Must be able to cope with pressure;
• Must be ready to work out side working hours;
• Must be Computer Literate
• Holder of a clean and valid driver’s license.
