The Mulungushi Village Complex Limited (MVCL) is a Real Estate and Hospitality Company established by the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ). The MVCL was incorporated in 2006 as a Limited Liability Company under the companies Act, CAP 386 of the Laws of Zambia. 2MVCL is a subsidiary of the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC). In its pursuit to remain as a premier choice for long and short stay accommodation, conferences and banqueting services, the MVCL seeks to appoint dynamic, motivated and pro-active persons to fill the following vacant positions:-
MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER
2.1 Summary Job Profile:
To provide insights and strategies that align with the overall business goals, ensuring that all efforts support the company’s growth and sustainability..
2.1.1 Statement of Main Duties
• Enhances the brands visibility in the competitive real estates and hospitality.
• Manages public perception and ensures consistent messaging across all channels, building a strong brand reputation.
• Developing tailored marketing campaigns that attract long-term residents and short-stay, optimizing occupancy rates across the various accommodations.
• Analyses market trends and customers demographics to implement effective promotional strategies.
• Effectively handles communications to minimize damage and restore trust.
• Enhances the company’s online presence through social media website optimization, and online reviews will attract more visitors.
• Focused approach to digital marketing to reach wider audiences and increase bookings.
• Building partnership with businesses and tourism boards.
2.1.2 Specific duties
• To Promote and organize events at the institution, attracting both local and international guests, which can boost revenue and community engagement..
• Implementing a strategy for maintaining customer relationship and loyalty programs that enhances guest retention and repeat visits.
• To set and monitor Key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies, ensuring a return on investment.
• Timely prepares and organizes events at the company.
• Prepares timely marketing reports.
KEY REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS
• Full grade 12 School Certificat.
• Degree in Business Studies or any social science.
• Master degree in Marketing/CIM Post Graduate Diploma or Business Administration will an added advantage .
• Member of Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM).
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in middle management.
