Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee the daily operations of the mining workshop, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
– Manage and maintain Epiroc machines and Cummins engines, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
– Lead and mentor a team of skilled technicians and mechanics, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
– Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to enhance productivity and equipment longevity.
– Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and adherence to project timelines.
– Monitor inventory levels and manage the procurement of necessary parts and tools.
– Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:
– Holder of diploma in Heavy Equipment Repair from a reputable institution
– Minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory position within the mining industry in a workshop.
– Proven expertise in handling Epiroc machines and Cummins engines.
– Strong leadership and team management skills.
– Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
– Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the mining industry.
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
– Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
