Job Title : Utility/Boiler In-Charge x 01
Reports To : Maintenance Manager

Job Overview
To ensure the utility and boiler operations align with the organization’s strategic goals and maintain high operational standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee utility services and monitor usage metrics for compliance.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers.
• Diagnose and repair boiler malfunctions, including leaks and pressure issues.
• Optimize boiler controls and monitor energy consumption.
• Test safety devices and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with teams for repairs and shutdowns.
• Stay updated with industry regulations and recommend improvements.
• Promote safety protocols and conduct risk assessments.
• Schedule maintenance for related equipment and monitor service providers.
• Monitor utility documentation and costs.

Minimum Requirements – Education, Experience and Skills
• Diploma in Mechanical Technology or equivalent related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in coal-fired 8-10 MT boilers, preferably John Thompson or equivalent.
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial boiler systems.
• Proficient in diagnosing boiler and Air compressors issues.
• Knowledge of water treatment, and refrigeration systems
• Familiar with boiler safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Supervisory experience is a must.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication with team members and vendors.

Job Title : Boiler Operator/Technician x 01
Reports To : Utility/Boiler In-Charge

Job Overview
The Boiler Operator/Technician will oversee boiler operations, set daily goals, and ensure efficient and safe equipment functioning. This role is vital for generating steam for heating, processing, and power generation, directly impacting operational capacity and safety.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure continuous operation through routine inspections and maintenance.
• Schedule inspections, cleanings, and filter replacements; repair or replace faulty components.
• Monitor safety equipment and address potential issues.
• Perform necessary repairs within budget constraints.
• Supervise assistant operators and mechanics, delegating tasks and providing guidance.
• Stay updated on safety laws for compliance.
• Document inspections and maintenance accurately.
• Recommend technological upgrades as needed.

Minimum Requirements – Education, Experience and Skills
• Minimum diploma in Mechanical Technology or equivalent related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Strong supervisory and communication skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
