HAIL & COTTON, a leading global tobacco leaf merchant, are currently recruiting for their Zambia Operations. The following positions are vacant in Lusaka and Chipata.

1. AGRONOMY DATA ANALYST (1)
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, agronomy, or any related field
• 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the agriculture sector
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and research methods
• Data collection, manipulation, and analysis skills
• Competent with software programs such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI etc
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem solving and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to perform quality assurance on data sets

2. AGRONOMY CLERK (1)
Qualification:
• A minimum of Grade 12 Certificate, credit or better in Mathematics and English
• Previous experience in data entry or clerical work is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.), and familiarity with database management software
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and record keeping
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Excellent organizational skills to manage large volumes of data and records

3. GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT (1)
Qualification:
• B. Com Finance/Equivalent
• 3-5 Years’ relevant experience

4. CREDITORS & FINANCE ADMIN CLERK (1)
Qualification:
• B.Com Finance/ Equivalent
• Newly qualified

5. SHIPPING CLERK (2)
Qualification:
• A minimum of Grade 12 Certificate, credit or better in Mathematics and English.
• Diploma in Business Administration or Logistics & Transport
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a dispatch or shipping clerk
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision

6. DATA ENTRY CLERK (6)
Qualification:
• A minimum of Grade 12 Certificate, credit or better in Mathematics and English
• Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Minimum of 2 years experience, preferably in the tobacco industry

7. TICKET MARKERS (3)
Qualification:
• A minimum of Grade 12 Certificate, credit or better in Mathematics and English
• Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years experience, preferably in the tobacco industry

8. RECEIVING CLERK (6)
Qualification:
• A minimum of Grade 12 Certificate, credit or better in Mathematics and English
• Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Minimum of 2 years experience, preferably in the tobacco industry

9. TOBACCO BUYER (2)
Qualification:
• Industry related Diploma/Degree
• Industry knowledge
• Minimum of 3 years tobacco buying experience

10. LEAF CHECKER (5)
Qualification:
• A minimum of Grade 12 Certificate, credit or better in Mathematics and English
• Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years experience, preferably in the tobacco industry

11. FLOOR SUPERVISOR (1)
Qualification:
• A minimum of Grade 12 Certificate, credit or better in Mathematics and English,
• Diploma/Degree in Agriculture or Business Studies
• Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years experience, preferably in the tobacco industry

12. BOOKING OFFICER (1)
Qualification:
• A minimum of Grade 12 Certificate, Credit or better in Mathematics and English
• Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Minimum of 2 years experience, preferably in the tobacco industry
