1. COMMISIONING ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Positions: ( 6 )
Job summary
The position of Commissioning Electrical Engineer is to support, on-site installations, develop and implement test plans based on industry standards.
Position reports to: Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Key responsibilities will include:
-Electrical relay testing and debugging
-Perform onsite inspections and testing of electrical switchgear equipment before and after energization
-Communicate and coordinate with different teams
-Participate in troubleshooting switchgear failures, installing and preparing Site Acceptance Test (SAT) reports.
-Complete commissioning check sheet, adding defects and incomplete work to the punch list.
-Perform other duties that maybe assigned by the commissioning manager
Qualifications And Experience
-Degree In Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
-3 to 5 Years Experience working in substation project construction and/or commissioning environment is an advantage.
-Ability to read and understand electrical drawings such as SLDs, schematics, and wiring diagrams
-Good knowledge of electrical switchgear, Protection Relay devices and Electrical equipment testing.
-Ability to troubleshoot, fault find and rectify AC and DC circuits.
-Knowledge of electrical power system safety standards and regulations
-Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
Soft Skills
-Strong problem, solving skills and teamwork
-Excellent Computer skills
-Able to use CMC 356, CPC100 Omicron devices
-Good communication
-Overtime may be required
2. FEMALE TEACHER (4)
-Tutor who is able to offer private tuitions in SCIENCE AS A MAJOR and able to assist in ENGLISH LESSONS to children in grades 4 and 6.
It’s a full time job working hour(s) of 2 hours or more per day, and according to kids school time table, the candidate has to be flexible with time arrangements.
-Able to teach upper primary
Qualifications And Experience
-Grade 12 certificate with credit or better
-Degree in Primary Education preferably good in SCIENCE and ENGLISH
-Five (5) Years teaching experience in a primary and secondary school setting
-FEMALE aged between 28-40 years
-Must be a registered member TCZ with valid practicing certificate
-Must have passion for teaching and ability to inspire, motivate young learners
-Experience in an international school an added advantage
-Must be ready to start work immediately
-Must reside in Lusaka areas surrounding Roma Park.
3. OFFICE ASSISTANT (4)
Our company is looking for an Office Assistant to handle clerical tasks in our office. You will handle incoming phone calls and other communications, greet clients and visitors, manage files, update paperwork and other documents, and perform other general office clerk duties and errands. An ideal candidate should be able to write clearly and be proficient with word processing applications. A pleasing personality with strong communication skills is also highly valued.
Responsibilities :
-Communicating with clients through phone, email, or other channels.
-Entering electronic data for marketing, compliance or other uses.
-Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing.
-Completing tasks outside the office, such as purchasing supplies or retrieving items for office meetings.
-Ensure compliance with established policies and coordinate with other departments.
-Prepare payrolls sheets, answer calls, and place orders for office supplies
-Create, enter and maintain information into the database.
-Travel can be organised by booking accommodation and reservation needs as required.
-Build and maintain a faithful relationship with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
-Carry out front desk procedures by collaborating with the office operation manager
-Maintaining office equipment as needed.
Qualifications And Experience
-High school, Diploma or Associate’s Degree.
-Extra qualification will be an added advantage.
-Experience as an office assistant or in a related field.
-Ability to work well under limited supervision.
-Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary
-Warm personality with strong communication skills.
-Must have a valid drivers licence.
4. KIDS NANNY
Responsibilities
– Taking care of 2 kids should be able to have a proper table time table for the kids bed time and during the day programs e.g. Able to help with kids homework, able to read write and communicate fluently in English
– Taking care of laundry for the family
– Complete other tasks related to the cleaning.
Requirements and skills
-should have a good educational back ground grade twelve certificate with good results or Diploma and able to read, write and understand English and fluently communicate in English.
– Must be above 25 years of age
-Previous experience in a similar role
– Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
– Familiarity with and proficiency in common cleaning techniques, tools, and products
5. STOREPERSON
Responsibilities
To efficiently handle the receiving, storage, and dispatching of equipment. This role includes managing site transfers, ensuring the security of storage room items , and maintaining accurate stock records according to established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
-stock Security, Housekeeping, and Accountability
-Take full responsibility and ownership of the storage room.
– Achieve zero variance reports and maintain updated files of all signed reports.
– Arrange the layout of stock/items for easy retrieval and counting.
– Ensure store security requirements are met.
– Accurate Records
– Conduct weekly self-audits to ensure accurate record-keeping. File reports both in hard and soft copies.
– Perform reconciliations to ensure physical stock matches computer records, and file the reports from reconciliations..
– Optimize distribution costs by effective planning and stock management.
– Adhere to procedures for receiving and issuing stock items.
– Check all documentation related to stock receipts and issuance, paying attention to detail.
– Count and check goods received to ensure they match documentation.
– Report any irregularities in physical stock or documentation to the line Manager
– Maintain and update stock records immediately upon movement of stock, both manually and in NAV.
Mandatory Stock Taking
– Ensure reports are signed and filed promptly.-• Participate in quarterly and annual stock counts.
Investigate and correct/reconcile any variances timely.
– Carry out weekly and monthly self-audits and document the results.
Internal Control Champion
– Monitor and report on weaknesses in store processes and procedures, making recommendations for improvements.
– Undertake any other duties/tasks as assigned or reasonably required to achieve the KPIs within the overall objective.
Qualifications & Experience:
– proficient in Microsoft
– Valid drivers licence
– Minimum two (2) years’ work experience in stores management or a similar role.
– Membership with the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS) is an added advantage.
