JOB DETAILS:
UNO Energies Zambia Limited is seeking a skilled plumber to be based at our Head office in Lusaka.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in plumbing systems and fixtures, with a focus on maintenance, installation, and repairs to ensure optimal functioning and safety. The Plumber will be responsible for diagnosing plumbing issues, performing repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance to uphold the integrity of plumbing systems.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, faucets, valves, and water heaters.
• Install, inspect, and test plumbing systems and equipment to identify leaks, blockages, or other issues.
• Troubleshoot plumbing problems and determine appropriate solutions, including repairing or replacing damaged components.
• Utilize plumbing tools and equipment to complete repairs and installations accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent plumbing emergencies and extend the lifespan of plumbing systems.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including documenting work performed and materials used.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors regarding plumbing issues and solutions.

Requirements
• Good communication skills
• Strong knowledge of plumbing principles, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment effectively.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Experience and Experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Plumber.
• Certification or vocational training in plumbing or a related field.
• Experience working with commercial or industrial plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to plumbing work.
