Our client in Lusaka is looking to hire a Process Engineer to join their team for a job vacancy within the micro finance industry

Responsibilities
-Scoping and implementing change projects in the business
– Taking charge of inter-departmental projects
– Improving the pace and success with which the business scales
– Providing process support to all departments
– Analyze core business processes and implement appropriate
measures of their performance;
– Identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency, effectiveness,
– and customer service;
Identify, scope and support customer journey and business systems
improvements with the group Systems team;
– Identify, scope and support standardized reporting improvements with
the group Data team;
– Help instill the culture and aptitude for continuous improvement;

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, or equivalent
– 3+ years experience in process engineering
– Experience with user stories, process mapping, value adds
– Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and visualization;
– Experience with SQL and data visualization tools other than Excel advantageous.
– Quality and process improvement methodology experience such as
theory of constraints, lean, and/or six sigma advantageous.
