Job Description
Lumwana Mining Company seeks to recruit a highly committed employee for the position of Project Camp Coordinator (Fixed Term) to join the Project Department. We are in search of an individual who can champion Barrick’s DNA by:

Reporting to the Human Resource Superintendent – FS, you will be responsible for you will be responsible for providing timely support in all Camp (accommodation) and Travel functions across the project.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
• Coordinate and Evaluate On-Site Training and External Training as per Training plan
• Coordinate the Accommodation Services Systems, identify and prioritize improvement opportunities, and formulate alternatives and improvements to systems and methods.
• Coordinate Camp Services business partner for LMC site offices, which include Inflight Management, Camp Management contract, Travel Management Contract, Busing Services Contract, Contractor camp costs back-charge management, and SOX compliance.
• Provide direction and guidance on Travel and Camp related issues to Department Heads.
• Coordinate the process of year-end reviews by being the sectional point of contact for all year-end activities, maintaining up-to-date records of all activities.
• Maintain a fully functional administration office environment and related services.
• Project management around a variety of camp-related issues and strategies
• Responsible for the quality delivery of Travel and Camp Services including busing and business travel.
• Maintain and develop relationships with stakeholders in LMC’s mining activities, consistent with Barrick’s Community Relations Policies.
• Other Camp Services tasks and projects as required from time to time.
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Degree Qualifications in Business Administration/Hospitality Management/Project Management or relevant field.
• With at least 5 years of experience in the similar role
• Experience in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge in fleet management, hospitality, and administration will be an added advantage.
• People management capabilities and customer service orientation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
