JOB DETAILS:
Unicaf University is an independent, accredited Tier 1 university, offering high quality internationally recognized qualifications up to ZQF10, combining the best elements of online and face-to-face education. Unicaf University in Zambia is growing and looking for applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Registrar.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure effective coordination and cooperation between the campus and the Federal Office of the Registrar.
• Generate reports based on requested data for administrative, institutional, external compliance, and student use.
• Ensure adherence to legal mandates and accessibility of services for the University Council and Administration.
• Oversee the public relations to enhance the university’s visibility, reputation, and relationships with key stakeholders, and ultimately supporting its mission and goals.,
• Safeguard corporate governance in a university ensuring effective establishment and maintenance of structures, processes, and practices to ensure accountability, transparency, and ethical behavior in decision-making and operations.
• Shall effectively perform corporate secretarial duties for Council meetings and its committees.
• Strategize, execute, and upkeep of the research infrastructure development to foster an optimal research environment at the University.
• Will collaborate effectively with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research and Innovation to facilitate the dissemination of research findings to industry partners and to enhance the effectiveness of consultancy activities in the university.
• Provide guidance and advice to all stakeholders on university business, ethics and good governance.
• Ensure timely and efficient dissemination of university-wide information internally and externally.
• Manage, organize, and input data derived from detailed documentation.

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Public Management, Humanities, Social Sciences, or any related programme from a recognised and/or accredited university. A PhD from a recognised university will be an advantage.
• At least five (5) years of administrative experience with two (2) of those within a higher educational institution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills especially in Spreadsheets and setting up web-based workspaces
• Well organized and able to handle multi-tasks and work under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of Zambia Higher Education Regulatory Framework is considered an advantage
• Experience in industry, stakeholder and international engagement is considered an advantage
