JOB DESCRIPTION
- To deliver high-quality service and adopt a customer retention approach in managing client relationships in order to enhance product sales and meet new client growth targets.
- To consistently meet individual performance targets for deposit growth, revenue, profit before tax (PBT), product sales, and acquisition of new clients.
- To specifically grow the Chinese Personal Banking segment in Kitwe.
JOB CONTEXT
- This role is responsible for driving performance across assigned banking segments—Premier, Advantage, and Direct Banking—while proactively engaging with customers and identifying opportunities for business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Business And Financial Performance
- Build and maintain positive client relationships by anticipating needs, providing solutions, and prioritizing customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed set performance targets and objectives.
- Ensure all client instructions are executed accurately by adhering to established control processes and coordinating with relevant departments.
- Customer Excellence
- Handle day-to-day client queries and assist in resolving customer issues within the team promptly and professionally.
- Sales
- Achieve revenue targets across a range of products including Loans, Cards, Term Deposits, and CASA (Current Account Savings Account) products.
- Drive Mobile App downloads within the segments in line with budgeted targets.
- Leadership and People Management
- Track and submit weekly reports on the performance of the customer portfolio.
- Actively contribute as a team player within the Segments and broader branch team.
- Process Control and Operational Performance
- Ensure strict compliance with all Operational Risk and Compliance guidelines, including TPIN, KYC, and anti-money laundering regulations.
- Monitor and maintain the credit portfolio with a maximum Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio of 2%.
JOB PROFILE Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a consumer banking role or a related line of business.
- Fluency in Mandarin will be an added advantage, particularly for engaging the Chinese Personal Banking segment.
