Job Description:
Purpose
The Supervisor, Club House ensures smooth and efficient operations in the restaurant’s front-of-house area, delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and organization. This role involves staff supervision, training, and coordination, with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
• Schedule and allocate staff based on forecasted business levels.
• Provide on-the-job training, mentoring, and support to ensure team competency.
• Conduct daily pre-shift briefings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and manage disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Maintain a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and inclusivity.
• Ensure all guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
• Address guest complaints and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Actively engage with customers to gather feedback and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
• Oversee reservation management and walk-in seating to optimize guest flow.
• Monitor FOH activities, including cleanliness, table settings, and service readiness.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Handle opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and inventory checks.
• Manage FOH stock levels, including supplies, beverages, and small wares.
• Conduct regular audits to minimize waste and pilferage.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and achieving cost efficiency targets.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
• Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including staff attendance, sales reports, and incident logs.
• Assist in planning promotions, events, and special occasions.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, including alcohol and food.
Qualifications And Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food & Beverage, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in F&B management, preferably in a clubhouse, hotel, or resort setting.
• Strong customer service management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certification in food safety management (HACCP/ServSafe).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
