Vendor Opportunities with Hungry Lion
Hungry Lion is looking for skilled vendors to provide essential maintenance and repair services at various locations across Zambia. If you specialize in any of the following trades, we invite you to apply.

Locations:
• Solwezi
• Mongu
• Mansa
• Chipata
• Kitwe
• Livingstone
• Choma
• Mazabuka
• Monze

Available Vendor Categories and Responsibilities
1. Electricians
Responsibilities:
• Inspect, install, and maintain electrical systems in Hungry Lion outlets.
• Repair and troubleshoot electrical faults in kitchen equipment and lighting.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Perform routine electrical maintenance to prevent power disruptions.

Requirements:
• Certified electrician with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
• Ability to work with kitchen appliances, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Must provide references or proof of previous work.

2. Plumbers
Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage.
• Fix leaks, replace damaged pipes, and maintain restrooms and kitchen plumbing.
• Ensure proper installation of water filtration and heating systems.
• Perform routine inspections to detect potential plumbing issues.

Requirements:
• Certified plumber with proven work experience.
• Ability to handle both minor and major plumbing repairs.
• Experience in commercial or restaurant plumbing is an added advantage.

3. Builders (Tiling & General Maintenance)
Responsibilities:
• Perform tiling work, including floor and wall installations and repairs.
• Carry out general maintenance work such as repairs to walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Ensure structural integrity in Hungry Lion stores.
• Work with other vendors to maintain store aesthetics and safety.

Requirements:
• Experience in construction, tiling, and general maintenance.
• Knowledge of materials, measurements, and finishing work.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

4. Equipment Specialists (Pressure Fryers, Chip Fryers, Warmers, etc.)
Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain kitchen equipment such as fryers, warmers, ovens, and grills.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues affecting food preparation machinery.
• Ensure routine servicing of all essential kitchen equipment.
• Provide recommendations for replacement or upgrades when necessary.

Requirements:
• Experience in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen appliances.
• Knowledge of various brands and models of fryers and warmers.
• Ability to source and replace faulty parts.

5. Generator Technicians
Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain backup generators for continuous power supply.
• Diagnose faults and service generators to ensure efficiency.
• Conduct periodic inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements:
• Certification in generator maintenance and repair.
• Experience with commercial-grade generators.
• Ability to work in emergency breakdown situations.

6. Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians
Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration units and air conditioning systems.
• Troubleshoot cooling issues in cold storage and display units.
• Ensure proper ventilation and climate control in Hungry Lion outlets.
• Perform routine servicing to extend the lifespan of cooling equipment.

Requirements:
• Certification in refrigeration and air conditioning.
• Experience in commercial or restaurant cooling systems.
• Knowledge of different cooling units, including walk-in freezers and display fridges.
