JOB DETAILS:
Job Brief
We are currently looking for a workshop manager to manage a fleet of agriculture machinery, earth-moving machinery, trucks, and light vehicles. We require the services of an experienced workshop manager who will manage the maintenance and management of the fleet.
The ideal candidate should be motivated, disciplined with strong planning skills, and willing to travel.

Responsibilities
• Maintaining the company’s fleet of agricultural equipment, such as tractors, as well as combine harvesters, sprayers, etc.
• Maintaining the company’s fleet of construction and earth-moving equipment, trucks, and light vehicles.
• Managing stock levels and procurement of required spares to ensure the continued operational efficiency of the equipment.
• Effectively utilizing modern technology to diagnose and fix faults on different machines.
• Compiling weekly maintenance reports.
• Instituting and managing long-term maintenance and service plans.
Ensuring compliance with all company policies, with a strong focus on health and safety in the workplace.

Key Skills and Qualifications.
• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineer or other Technical Mechanic background
• Supporting references or proof of experience in a similar role working with Farming Equipment.
• Computer literate good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent planning skills Self-motivated, result-driven, exceptional attention to detail, and able to take initiative
• Able to work independently and with good initiative
• Valid driver’s license
